Katie Bradbury

Katie’s role at PSP as a Clinical Nursing Educator involves the preparation and delivery of training courses to families, carers, fellow healthcare professionals and businesses.

Katie qualified as a children’s nurse in 2006 has worked in both hospital and community-based settings for the NHS. Katie’s role often involved caring for children with complex needs including tracheostomies, gastrostomies and a range of other health issues including seizure management and allergies, which led to her delivering training at home and school to parents, to give them confidence in caring for their child.

Since 2018, Katie has been a practice educator in a hospital accident and emergency department, involving her delivering training to staff on a variety of courses including life support and running simulation sessions with medical colleagues.

Katie specialises in paediatrics, health and safety, safer handling and life support (adult and child). She is a Resus Council Certified immediate life support and Paediatric immediate life support trainer.
